SCHEDULE:
6 hours per day
RATE OF PAY:
$15.91 per hour

FUNCTION: To assist the Head Cook-Manager in all aspects of managing a kitchen.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with food preparation;
Assist with record keeping;
Assist with clean up;
Must be responsible to identify reimbursable meals;
Must be responsible to follow all food safety and health practices;
May be responsible for various record keeping duties;
May be responsible for accurate computer input;
May be responsible for counting and reconciling money and accounts;
May be responsible for assisting in supervision student workers;
May be responsible for assuming Head Cook-Manager’s position in their absence;
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of students.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; experience in cafeteria setting ore related field. Food handler’s card. Experience working with children. Ability to use/learn the computer system and P.O.’s terminals. Possess a current food handler’s card.
