SALARY: $49,638.36-$92,138.12 DOE + 4% of Base stipend. Prorated based upon FTE and start date.
Insurance: Generous Health, dental, and vision contribution from the district, currently up to $2,130 (based upon family coverage), TBD for 2024-2025.
PERS Retirement: The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.

SCHEDULE: 190 Days (prorated based upon start date).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide guidance, support and instruction for successful implementation of (Tier 2 and 3) small intervention groups in the areas of math and language arts
Support building leadership in designing a fully integrated master bell schedule
Facilitate the screening, identification and scheduling of students needing additional
academic support
Plan, implement and modify intervention for students identified as needing additional
academic support
Ensure that interventions are implemented with fidelity and progress is monitored
frequently
Plan for and monitor the delivery of Tier II and III interventions
Facilitate EBIS and 100% Team Meetings where schoolwide academic data in order to
evaluate the effectiveness of universal programs to support the successful
implementation of Tier I instruction.
Facilitate Individual Problem-Solving Meetings with parents, teachers, and specialists to
develop a successful action plan when an individualized approach is needed
Provide consultation, coordination, training, in-service and/or staff development to staff
on evidence-based practices for teaching literacy and math interventions within the
context of the district-wide MTSS with a high level of professional rigor.
Willingness and expectation to participate in ongoing professional development related to
the position.
Work with district and building leadership teams to build a sustainable MTSS infrastructure
based on the principles of implementation science
Maintain regular on-time attendance.
Maintain/complete all certifications and endorsements as required by TSPC and ODE
May require additional workdays outside the KFEA contract paid at the contract rate.
Other relevant duties as assigned by the administrator
Education and/or Experience
5+ years of successful classroom teaching experience (preferred).
Familiarity with using Data to drive decision (preferred).
Background in RTI/MTSS systems (preferred).
Experience training staff in both one-on-one, small-group, and large-group formats (preferred).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:
Hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license through Teacher Standards and Practices
Commission with an ECE/ELE endorsement.
