POSITION: Food Service Cook (5 Positions, depending on head count)

FUNCTION: To prepare supper meal service to students for the 21st Century Community Learning Center after school program

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

food preparation and cooking;

serving food;

clean up;

Responsible for accurate record keeping, i.e. production records, ;

Responsible to identify reimbursable meals;

Must be responsible to follow all food safety and health practices;

Responsible for some paperwork and record keeping;

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); previous experience in food service preferred. Experience working with children. Possess a current food handler’s card.

SALARY: $11.94 per hour

SCHEDULE: 1.5 to 2 hours per day, after school program schedule
