Position:
Ponderosa Middle School- Sport Coach Positions
1 Lead coach per sport- One coach per 15-20 players recommended
All Pondo sports are Coed.
2017/2018 Sports Season tentative schedule is as follows:
Basketball- October 9- November 9, 2017
Wrestling- November 27- December 14, 2017
Volleyball- January 16- February 13, 2018
Archery- February 26-March 9, 2018
Flag Football- May 14-June 7, 2018
Function:
Coaches will provide practice, training, and skill building opportunities for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade boys and girls to compete in the KFCS League season. Coaches are required to recruit additional volunteer coaches.
Requirements: Experience working with and/or coaching youth sports. Must pass background check. Must submit a weekly time tracker sheet.
Salary: $300 stipend per position/per sport

Required Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday practices and/or games. Daily practice 3:30-5:00 (times may vary for practice.)

Position: Ponderosa Middle School- Volleyball Coach Positions- 4
1 Lead coach per team- One coach per 15-20 players recommended
2017/2018 Girls Volleyball season is September 11th through October 25th
Function: Coaches will provide practice, training, and skill building opportunities
for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade girls to compete in the Klamath Basin Junior high league.
Coaches are required to recruit additional volunteer coaches.
Requirements: Experience working with and/or coaching youth sports. Must pass background check. Must submit a weekly time tracker sheet.
Salary: $450 stipend per coach, to be paid at the end of the month
Schedule: Tentative Schedule:
Required Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday practices week one. Daily practice 3:30-5:00 (times may vary for practice.) Games will be Mondays and Wednesdays. Schedule will be out by the end of the week.
