CONGER, MILLS, PELICAN, AND ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Position: After School Academic Instructors - TEMPORARY – 24 positions
Function: 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) after school academic instructors to support supplemental instruction supports for K - 5th grade students in math, reading, writing and enrichment in Art, PE/Health, and Science/STEM. Curriculum will provided for all supports.
Requirements: Minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Associates preferred.
Experience working with and teaching students
Competent in math, writing and reading skills
Computer literacy skills required.
Experience in Math, Reading, Writing, Art, Science, and PE.
Must to able to physically perform athletic requirements.
The employee is expected to be dressed and groomed in a neat, clean and
appropriate professional manner for the assignment and work setting.
Other duties as assigned.
Salary: $13-14.30 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 12.5 hours per week
Schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (3:00 pm – 5:30 pm)
Wednesdays (2:00 pm – 4:30 pm)
Professional Development training will occur August 28th-September 15th (times, dates, and location TBD)
CCLC Program will begin September 18th 2017 – May 25, 2018
Anticipated total of 148 instructional days
Days/times subject to change to allow for strategic flexible scheduling
Mandatory Professional Development Days (2 days of the month)
Mandatory Site Trainings and/or Meetings (Once a week at your site) |
