Full-time (1.0) Licensed Teacher – General Music - 2017/2018 School Year

Function:                   

This position(s) involves split time between 2 elementary schools teaching general classroom music K-5. Recorders are part of the 4th grade curriculum at each school.  Duties include, but are not limited to, creating and presenting a holiday program in December at each school, as well as participate in district spring band (4th grade recorders) and choral festivals.   Klamath Falls City Schools offers a comprehensive music program to our students, including vocal K-12, and instrumental music grades 5-12 both band and orchestra. 

Requirements:          

Hold or qualify for an Oregon teaching license through Teacher Standards and Practices Commission with an music endorsement and be considered highly qualified by the Oregon Department of Education.

Salary:

2016-2017 Salary Schedule $38,467.00 - $71,402.00

2017-2018 Salary Schedule being negotiated.
