Klamath Falls City Schools is seeking a Principal for Roosevelt Elementary School.
Ideal candidates will have strong instructional and administrative experience, a passion
for academic excellence, a dedication to student-centered leadership, a commitment to
teamwork and collaboration, and excellent communication skills. As an educational
leader, each candidate will be expected to champion high academic standards, establish
a positive and visible presence in the school community, represent the school as a
thoughtful and articulate spokesperson, and maintain the exceptionally positive school
culture and attitude that currently exists among students, faculty, parents and
administrators.
Roosevelt School was originally built for grades one through eight in 1929. The geothermally-heated building consists of fourteen classrooms, two gymnasiums, a large auditorium which has been refitted to house the computer lab, a library, cafeteria, music room and offices.
Roosevelt currently has 20+ certified staff. Roosevelt School has an average self-contained classroom size of 23 students. An active Booster Club provides social and fundraising events beginning with a picnic in September that brings families, students and staff together.
Finally, strong and active parental involvement at school and at home completed the final element of each child's school success at Roosevelt, in addition to as many as 600 volunteer hours per month at school. The countless hours spent at home on assignments, projects, and conversation helps to make Roosevelt School a great place to learn and work.

2016-2017 Administrative Salary Schedule Step 1: $93,047.00
2017-2018 Administrative Salary Schedule is being negotiated
