Position:
After School Academic Instructors - TEMPORARY – 4 positions
Function:
21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) after school academic instructors to support supplemental instruction supports for 6th - 8th grade students in math, reading, writing and enrichment in Art, PE/Health, and Science/STEM. Curriculum will provided for all supports.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Other duties as assigned.
Experience working with and teaching students
Competent in math, writing and reading skills
Computer literacy skills required.
Experience in Math, Reading, Writing, Art, Science, and PE.
Must to able to physically perform athletic requirements.
The employee is expected to be dressed and groomed in a neat, clean and
appropriate professional manner for the assignment and work setting.
Salary:
$13.00-$13.88 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
12.25 hours per week – to include 1 hr. PD on Wednesdays
Schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (3:15 pm – 5:30 pm)
Wednesdays (1:45 pm – 4:00 pm)
Anticipated Training week August 30th- September 1st
September 12th 2016 – May 26, 2017
Anticipated total of 153 instructional days
Days/times subject to change to allow for strategic flexible scheduling
Mandatory Professional Development Days (last working Wednesday of every month)
Mandatory Site Trainings and Meetings (Every Wednesday) |
